DMC is absolutely an adrenaline-pumpin', nerve-rattling game that puts the "pic" in epic. Dante is one of the coolest main characters to date. He's like Spider-Man and Blade put together. The powers and style along with the rench coat is like Blade. And his wise insultive cracks on the bad guys is like Spider-Man. I suppose he has a little Flash in him, too, since he's "quick" to flirt with a girl. I love the way the battle system simulates freedom in your techniques. Combining combos and weaponry to deliver as much damage as you can "pull" off, 'cuz lets face it--the game is hard as hell. The difficulty in this game soars past a lot of other games. The boss fights don't demand hach 'n slash. You literally have to come up with a strategy the moment you face them. If you actually looked in the DMC strategy guide, you'd see just how diverse each battle is, even with the random monsters you encounter that are regulars throughout each stage. I mean, they're not the usual "Puddies" like you see in Powers Rangers, running around, fighting mindlessly. It spices the game up a few notches and delivers nothing but satisfactory. From in-game music to battle style, dept, character design and encounters, this game stands above most, and should only be viewed as a "Classic" hands down.
