It's Okay, Once You See Through The Shallow, Short Gameplay.

The whole game is based around Dexter saving his lab from his rival, Mandark, who reprogrammed all of Dexter's robots (who come out of random doors in his lab) to destroy his lab and attack him. You play through four stages, going both up and down 20-something floors of his lab. You can attack the robots by shooting them with such guns as plasma guns, grenades, etc. or by jumping on them a few times (note that some robots cannot be jumped upon). You have to go through a certain number of doors with a potion bottle on it in order to beat the stage without dying. If you forget one if you get to the end of the level, you'll be automatically transported to that door that you missed. There's also doors to go in to change out your weapons that appear randomly throughout the stages. You'll have to go down elevators and escalators to reach from point A to point B. (You can't just drop down or you'll die) You can shoot while ducking and jumping which is useful, even when the robots are chasing you on the escalators.

The game can be beaten in a few hours or however long it takes for you to beat a stage. At the end of each stage, you'll fight a series of robots to rack up points to earn extra health and lives. There's no save function so you'll pretty much have to beat the game in one sitting. You get 3 different suits to dress Dexter in (one of them are his trademark clothes) and one ma be more endurable and the other may help with your jumping.

Overall, Dexter's Laboratory Robot Rampage may be a short, shallow GBC game, but if shooting robots can hold your satisfaction for a few hours or so, then this game is right up your alley.
