I only gave this game a 1.5 for one reason and one reason only (Update: Hate Mail)
User Rating: 1.5 | Diablo III PC
DRM has slowly been killing this game since it has launched. There is no need for me to require an internet connection to play the SINGLE PLAYER aspect of this game. There is no reason what so ever for that. The game itself is great....whenever I can actually stay on for a reasonable amount of time. The game is pretty much literally Diablo II but with a few much needed tweaks to gameplay and the graphics. Diablo III is everything it is meant to be and what I expected from this game....but the main downfall to this game? DRM. Look, I am not the type of guy that NEEDS to play this game with friends. Its nice too, but when it comes to Diablo during its first month or so being out on the market, I strictly play the Single Player mode to get use to the game and learn as much as I can about my class and the dungeons in general before gaming with fellow players throughout the world. When I brought the game at Midnight, I should have been able to play it at Midnight...not the following day at 6pm. I should not have to have a battle.net account to play this game, I should not have to have an internet connection to play this games Single Player mode and nether should any of you. Its funny, Blizzard wants us to use the real money AH for this game when it releases and has even given us the option to actually make some money off of this game....but thats after their 15% cut they take from us....but Blizzard wants to force DRM onto us and expect us to help them make a bigger profit from this game at the expense of people who don't want to actually work and grind for their gear through this Real Money Auction House..mind you, If this Real Money Auction House is a success in Diablo 3, then it will eventually find its way onto WoW. Well I say Bull**** to that. The only way for any of us to change this, is to spam the Blizzards Diablo III forums with petitions and extreme dislike for DRM and to NOT log onto this game at all until they ether remove DRM or create some kind of patch that removes DRM from the single player mode at least(Mind you, NO gamer will do this, because they are simply too brainwashed by the title of the game alone, and will more then likely "ride it out" and continue to let Game Companies to walk all over them and allow them to get away with ****ing the consumers over. I don't mind DRM if its only in effect for the MULTIPLAYER part of a game because lets face it. Its Multiplayer. If I can shell out 50 bucks for a game by putting 10 dollars away a week t buy a game to play online with my friends, so can every one else...but an Internet Connection to play the SIngle Player mode? I draw the line right there. Why can I only play this game when Blizzard allows me to play this game? Lets say that Blizzard....or any other game company for that matter that uses DRM for their games both Single Player and Online and they suffer a serious security breach like Sony did and they are down for a month or so? That means I can't play any game...single player or no single player, due to having DRM forced onto me. I would have given this game between an 8-9 because that is what this is. an 8-9 game. but DRM? I'm sorry but I'm tired of Blizzard, EA and Game Companies in general screwing Gamers over for the last 5-6 years with BS like this. Uninstalled Diablo III after two days. Never thought I would say that.

hey retard (sorry for the disrespect) if u care so much about single player DOWNLOAD THE DIABLO 3 CRACK.. 1.5 because u arent smart enough to get the crack? sounds ridiculous.. i rate your intelligence at a 1.5 "
^^^ And that is why Game Companies and Publishers will continue to walk all over people. Instead of nutting up, boycotting the game and showing these **** that we wont take this kind of crap when it comes to DRM, You have dumb***** like this. Guess what Trustmyreview? I shouldn't HAVE to download a crack from a 3rd party source to play the Single Player mode offline.....Also, how is that game you paid 60 bucks to pretty much rent from Blizzard treating you?
