Aside from the horrendous launch, the game it still undergoing patch after patch of fixes and tweaks. The formula that made Diablo 2 so great has been scratched and replaced with this "casual gamer" Diablo III. No skill-tree, one primary stat per character class, no dueling, generic storyline, and a auction house hoarded with gold farmers. Lets not even start with the amount of accounts being hacked. I think giving a 5.5/10 is higher than it deserves and I'm astounded at the current rating the game has. Its no surprise that most Diablo III players are new to the series (at least from the many I've asked). If your considering this game I suggest to wait until the price drops tremendously or a miracle patch comes along and fixes the plethora of game issues. I guess this is the result of Blizzard getting another studio to develop a sequel. What's next? Pandas in World of Warcraft??
