DOC is a cool shooter, and a cool new look on the ff series. But as a stand alone game its really nothing special. I cant imagine many people buying this game if it didnt have Final Fantasy 7 in the title, and or the characters were different, but on the flip side it is definatly cool to see how FFVII is becoming completed with a lot of the story coming to a close. I would have liked it more if they did more of a devil may cry feel to it but it is still a solid game. The controls are pretty easy to get use too and the graphics are really good EXPECIALLY the cutscenes.(which are amazing) If you are a final fantasy fan i recomend you pick this game up and give it a try but if your in the market for a good 3rd person shooter you may way to look else where.
