Disgaea was the first NIS game I bought back when I was a freshman in high school and I still love it today in college. This is a game you can put well over 150 hours and still not unlocked everything, unless you cheat.
First up is the cast of characters. An amazing set of hilarious characters fill this entire game. From cold dick Laharl to awesome loser Mid-Boss the voices, designs, and scenes with the characters are flawless. The battles are huge and the damage is even higher. The cycle is only thirteen chapters but the extra missions and mass leveling that you need to do in order to beat everything keeps you more than busy.
That's the only criticism I have. the levels. The strongest boss in the game is at level 5000 and you can't hurt him unless you have the best weapons in the game which take hours and hours to acquire. Not to mention you can beat the storyline with your team roughly at level 100. But if you're like me and don't mind leveling up this game is one of the best tactical rpgs out there.
