Amazing strategy RPG!
The only thing is that you can get caught up in leveling up your characters forever.. really. I don't know where the level cap is (if there even is one) but if there is one it is somewhere in the thousands or maybe hundred thousands. But even though you can grow ever stronger by either leveling up your characters or leveling up the items they use you can always find a tough fight since the items you acquire as you enter into higher level items. You can enter items (or go into "item worlds") to capture and level up their "residents" which are basically the stats on any particular item. After you capture the "residents" you can then move them onto a different item of your choosing.
In addition to having a creative/different combat style that can involve picking up and throwing enemies and/or allies, along with other neat things, the game also has a really cool storyline that can be pretty hilarious at times.
There are also different endings that you can get, depending on how you play the game. Disgaea really is a great game all around in my opinion even if you don't level up an insane amount you can still beat the game and have a lot of fun while you do it.
