Gameplay:
- stealth
- you can use two weapons. Gun and swords

- you can look through key holes to observe
- you can loot dead bodies
- picking up food will replenish a little bit of health

- counter
- perfect counter allows for one hit ko
- you can peek over cover
- retractable objects are highlighted yellow when aimed at
- corvo can slide
- location of your next objective is marked with an arrow telling you how many meters you are away from it
- corvo can teleport. This mechanic is very well implemented, it feels like you are a 'jumper'
- there are optional side quests during your main quest
- dark vision allows corvo to have x-ray vision to see where enemies are located through walls. Similar to batman
- you can go about the mission stealth or combat. Stealth requires some patience. You may also lose a lot of health depending on the amount of enemies there are in the area.
- you can possess animals and humans for a short time. Good stealth element.
- corvo can create wind blasts
- everytime you kill a guard you have to be careful that others do not see his body. The game lets you move bodies around
- possessing rats can help you get through tight spaces and get to unreachable areas
- you can rewire alarms to make electric fences kill guards when they cross rather than yourself
- you can perform creative kills such as putting spring razor onto a rat and have it run into guards or stop time as a guard is shooting at you, then possess him and put him into your spot so that the bullet hits him
- drop assassinations
- you can stop time and make enemies hit each other
- you can climb chains
- each power has a level 2 upgrade and it is usually an enhanced version of the first level. It comes in to use such as in missions where you need to find an item, if you have level 2 dark vision then you can locate it more easily
- you can learn more about things and places you encounter throughout the world
- assassin's creed stealth kills
- shortcuts is a very useful feature because the game will have you switch between powers often
- the game will have you searching for items such as elixirs and potions to keep yourself alive. Also, runes and coins for weapon and power upgrades.
- the game lets you save anywhere, except near enemies and cutscenes.
- four difficulty levels
- depending on how many people you kill throughout the game, the ending will vary.
- stop time take a grenade and throw it back.

Graphics:
- art style is great. The environment feels like a water color painting. Characters models fit in well.

Story:
- protagonist doesn't talk
- corvo is accused of killing the empress, he must retaliate against lord regent and save emily.
- type writers and journals are scattered throughout your journey to give the player more knowledge about the story if they care to read or listen to it
- characters feel alive and have their own personalities. They will respond accordingly to the actions you make
Music:

Replay value:s
- A bundle of side quests on each mission that expand the story and characters
- many collectables that reflect the people's struggle with the plague
