A cool game that could have been greater if it would have had more meat in it.
You will play both Bolt and Penny. Your goal is to find Penny's father. When you play as Bolt, you will have his super-power (superbark, laser-eyes, etc...). It is very cool to use them, but it becomes very repetitive. You will press the same button to knock down the enemies.
When you play as Penny, you have a kind of crowbar with which you can climb buildings, open doors, etc... If you are stuck, you can use your "vision" to see where you can climb or jump.
The game is really on a rail, you cannot explore anything, you only have one way to finish the level. It is really made for the kids or family. I personally played with my girlfriend and there was only 1 place where she was stucked and that I had to help her. We finished it in about 6 hours.
The main problem is the fact that there is absolutely no replay value. There is only 1 difficulty, no local or online multiplayer, no side-quests. Once you finish it, it is finished. You only unlock some mini-games that look all like an old style arcade game where you drive a ship and fire at your enemies.
I had a lot of graphics issues, where I saw a lot of artifacts. Enemies that were big artifacts. Even a whole part of the level where we could not see in front of us where we had to use our special vision to know where to go.
In conclusion, if you liked the movie, you will probably like this game. If you did not like it, I do not recommend you this game. You will not learn much of this game about the main story of the movie.
