Well, I haven't played this game in quite a while, and because I really don't feel like picking it up just to write a good review about it, I'll just tell you what I can remember. I'd like to just tell you that this game sucks and be done with it, but there's a rule preventing that, so here it goes.

A Bug's Life follows the story of the movie of the same name, but it just doesn't feel right. What I can remember of this game is that it was ruthless, you had a set number of lives to make it through the entire game, and if you lost you'd have to start over from level one. So naturally, I can dream level 1 and level 2, but I never got to the final levels. I made it to level 5 or 6, I believe.
First off, the graphics are plain awful, and I'm not saying that because they're outdated, but they were even bad for Playstation standards. The characters kept saying things, that didn't offer a lot of variation, so they're kinda fun at the start, but just become annoying after level 1, as you've probably heard all (and enough) of 'em before you've finished that. So, sound's bad, graphics's bad, you'd expect the creators put extra time in the gameplay, but no. The levels are pretty linear, and the only sidepaths you encounter usually lead to a collectible of some sort. Your attacks consist of throwing berries at enemies which are just impossible to aim correctly, and a squashing 'butt from up high'-attack. It's like this game was made with the intention not to show any variation whatsoever. And that.. is bad.
