As other action games from a movie, this is just an ordinary experience that doesn't offer enough to satisfy.

These days, many great movies are coming out everywhere but unfortunatly, not many games based on them are very good. We have all learned this continous theory and as a result, not much changes in The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer.

The game starts out where the movie left off, the underminer is attacking the city. He is threating to turn the world we see into the underworld. So basically, he's going to fill the sky with dirt and no sun and pretty much everything you see underground.

Ok, lets stop and think for a moment. Isn't this just a plain old weird gameplay? I mean, it is an ok sequel, but the plots is either dull or just plain stupid. At least it's long. But then again, it is long.

In the game, you can play as either Frozone or Mr. Incredible. It is best to play with someone else in the multiplayer because the computer players just play follow the leader. But if you are a grinch, you can play by yourself. There is always going to be a Mr. Incredible and a Frozone, but it's just who you play as. You can switch between players while you are playing solo, but then everything else you can do is just weird.

Both Mr. Incredible and Frozone have different moves. They are both based the same as in they are pretty balanced as to what they do and cause. Both have sort of like a thing where if you defeat a guy with a red swirly ball above his head, you will get something where if you press L and R at the same thing, the character will do something that breaks all hell.

The interface is pretty tough to get used to. You will have no idea wether you are creating a new file or continuing off of it. You might also find yourself wondering if the person right next to you is connected.

Like I said, many games based on a movie are just dumb and not good. The Incredible: Rise of the Underminer does bring some action, but just not enough to make it stick out on the market.
