Too easy, too short. Sequel-syndrome... without Syndrome.
The multiplayer option was there, but didn't seem to add much to the game. Instead of switching between the two main characters as in single player mode, multiplayer mode just lets you play both characters at once. And seen as this isn't very taxing in single player mode, multiplayer mode is just even easier.
You quite quickly get used to the limited number of moves the players have and figure out that dodging projectiles and building ice bridges is just about as hard as this game gets.
But then... after a couple of hours you get this sneaky suspicion that things are going far too easily and the story seems to be moving towards the end. And that it does... it ends. Too soon.
I really missed the good puzzles, frustration, cool boss levels and storyline which the first game in this series did have. But then, the first game was based on a great movie and you played that story. This game starts where the movie left off... And if this game was any sign... good job a sequel of the movie was never made.
Parents and their children; Yes, this is a cartoon style game where the multiplayer option allows you to help a weaker player. So it might be fun for you. Gamers looking for a bargain PC game which allows cooperative multiplayer and has a family theme; try Narnia instead.
