Beautiful environment, great story for the genre, perfect for 5 years old girls dreaming of being a princess.

I bought this game in a bargain bin for my 5 years old daughter, and it did not disappoint. The environment is rendered marvelously and it keeps my daughter interested in playing (I have to stop her after a long session). The animations are well done and the characters a attaching.
You can customize your character by choosing a dress, shoes, bracelets, earrings, etc. Sound is good, but a bit annoying (for me).
There is a large performance hit when going in Ariel's world since it is underwater (shader effects I guess).
The only drawback is that it has no native gamepad support. I used Logitech Profiler to use the gamepad. Keyboard mapping for other languages is fixed, so if you have a different mapping, some keys are mismatched. (french canadian for french language).
My daughter is really absorbed by the princess environment. If you have a 5 years old daughter, this game is a winner.
