User Rating: 10 | Aladdin SNES
Perhaps one of my favorite games ever, Aladdin for the Super Nintendo was just plain awesome. To put it in perspective, I played this game enough to the point where I could beat in in under 30 minutes. Once you get the parachute the game becomes quite easy once you familiarize yourself with the control scheme. There are many levels, all with cool themes that come from the movie. The most difficult (in my opinion) of all of the levels is certainly the "escape from the cave" level in which you must ride the magic carpet through the tunnels without touching the walls as large rocks fall on you and lava waves rear up beneath you. It took me a while to conquer this level, but after that, you get to go to some of the best levels in the game. Movement is side-scrolling, with lots and lots of cool jumps and arobatic manuvers as you swing about on different things. You can throw apples (to stun), pick up barrels to kill baddies, or just jump on them. There are a lot of different enimes that each require different techniques to defeat. Overall, this game is very rewarding and a must-have for any SNES owner.
