The Plot: The game follows the movie's plot through and through, so if you have seen the movie, you know what the plot is.The Gameplay: The game incorporates several different features into its gameplay to provide a nice, non-repetitive style. This game has projectiles, hand-to-hand combat, platforming, item collecting, and exploring. The platforming is one of the Genesis' best, as it doesn't feel like the same thing over and over again. Environments change to where each level gives you a different feel. The town in the beginning gives you a nice sense of scale as you can climb rooftops, ladders, and swing through obstacles, just like Aladdin in the movie. Overall, the gameplay is great and keeps you enthralled til the end.The Music: The soundtrack has a great collection of the movie's music, along with some nice background tunes to make the game feel like Aladdin is supposed to. The sound-effects are generic though, and they sound just like any other platformer. But overall, the sound does the game justice. The Graphics: They are lush and vibrant and really capture the feel of every environment in the movie. The town is bright and gorgeous, while the caves are dark and treacherous. Everything pops out from the little Genesis screen, and the game really makes it seem like you are playing on a TV rather than the small handheld.Overall: The game is great and should be picked up by any Genesis owner.Score: 9.6
