Where do i start with this game? Okay, i'll start with this. It's not that good. No, no it isn't. It wasnt good on this console, and it'll only be worse on a Game Boy! It is good that they're making a Tony Hawk-style game for the younger set, and yes, in the gaming world, this is a pretty noble thing. But i wish proceeds of the sales for this game went to charity, cos gameplay is not pretty. Not pretty at all. Maybe the young 'uns will ignore the slightly irresponsive controls of the game and distract themselves by the fact that they're skating in Andy's bedroom as Buzz Lightyear, but the oldies who played this very game (Me, doi) just couldn't ignore it. And some skaters make it confusing for you to control them, because certain skaters will act like they'll fall off the board terribly at any second even though their balance meters are full. The levels aren't too fun to skate in as well, because some proper ramps turn out to be very improper. The graphics aren't too great either, cos sometimes it gets just too choppy, and although the developers put a LOT of work into this game, it also feels mind-numbingly boring and the skaters don't get up to speed! The speed of them being on a skateboard with your thumb practically pushing the X button inwards is equivalent to the speed of a running, deck-less skater in Tony Hawk's Underground with your thumb normally holding down the X button. I don't know if any of the kiddies are reading this, so i just made the whole review pretty frank. Oh, and i've got a 6-year old cousin who enjoys watching WWE more than playing this. And i finished elemntary school lightyears ago. Geddit, Buzz? Oh wait, you don't and you can't, cos you're busy bailing on the floor in Andy's room. That's what you get when you pretend that you're off-balance too much.
