The Goof Troop is, or actually, Was a hit show on the Disney channel back in the good ole' days. Hopefully, your not looking at this game and thinking Disney franchise+game=Suck!
Because that's surprisingly opposite of what you really get! What you get is a beautiful game with easy controls and challenging puzzles. Max and Goofy were out fishing with Pete and PJ. Naturally, Pete won't let Goofy on his boat, so Max and Goofy are stuck in a crappy little lifeboat. This works out for them, as Pete and his plumpy son are abducted by pirates! So Goofy, being the good neighbor that he is, sets off on an adventure with his son Max to Save his Nonmutual Friend. You can choose at the start whether you want to be Goofy or Max. Max is faster , but inflicts less damage with his attacks (EG, a fat Pirate can take two barrells to the noggin from Max before flying off the screen in pain/surprise/acceptance), while Goofy is basically the opposite, moving slower, but can The fatties with only one beer keg to the mush. Along the way you will pick up several different Items that will be needed to progress through each of the pretty long 5 levels, such as finding a plank of wood to cross a gap, or using a hookshot to form a tightrope bridge, even a little bell that can attract enemies to you so you can smash them in the face with a coconut or something. What shines best in this game is playing with a frined, one controlling goofy an the other controlling Max. Teamwork is almost necessary sometimes, though everything is possibl;e with one player, Haveing another set of cocnut-chucking hands doesnt hurt. You can even pla ycatch with each other, coordinateing attacks on th e enemy pirates who would like nothing more than to barely touch you and send you flying off teh screen. If you do, however, decide to toss your bud a rock you bonk out a buccaneer, he'd betetr know it, because if his arms aren't up he gets smashed in the face with whatever you threw. This can be fun, some of my fondest memories are whomping Goofy in the back of the head with a cement Block.

Anyway, if you do find this game, GET IT. youll love it, I did, and thats the truth ;).
