Toontown is very entertaining and kid friendly. The game is also very easy to use,so anyone could enjoy it.
The main abjective in Toontown is to defeat these evil cogs which have taken over Toontown,and to do this you use funny gags like pie throwing,piano dropping,exploding TNT,foghorns,and more. You'll have to team up with other toons to win these battles,and with teamwork,you can take over cog buildings,which are buildings the cogs use in place of toon buildings. Your health is really your laughter,or "laff",so you have laff points. When you start,you have 15 laff points. As progress,they get as high as 120. And to progress,you have toontasks which you must complete in order to get new gags,boost your laff meter,carry more gags,and even get money (jellybeans).
Each toon you create comes with his/her own house which you can furnish as you like. While most furniture is not very interactive (as of this review) it's still nice to show your friends your house. Recently,they added a feature that lets you buy gifts for your toon friends. Isn't that nice?
Graphicly,the game is wondeful. Naturally,since this is Toontown,the graphics are going to be cartoony and the game does a nice job of this. The framerate is very good,although there is lag if you are in a area that is crowded. Some playgrounds even have snow falling and lakes.
Anyone who is young at heart and likes Disney will like this game. While you can max your toon in a few months,there are still others to do like helping other toons,getting to the highest cog level in the CFO or VP,or check out that new playground or Cog HQ that was added. So,get in Toontown and help us! Are you toon enough?
