ToonTown is a decent online game where you can meet friends, fight Cogs and do tasks. I enjoyed this game a lot when I was a member, and I'm thinking about rejoining. The graphics are far surperior to RuneScape, and not being able to type your own text (Though annoying) means that nobody can insult you by calling you a n00b or something.

You can either choose a name or type your own name, but when you type your own name, you must have it reviewed before you can use it. usually Disney turns your name down, and you'll forever be known as "Blue Bear". You can't rename or redesign your characters, and you've gotta go through a lame tutorial, but it works out pretty well.

ToonTown doesn't do anything special that will revolutionize online gaming, but it proves that you can teach an old dog new tricks. Load times can be slow sometimes, but it's not too bad. The characters can seem too happy at times, and that gets on my nerves. I wish I could say something rude to some of those stupid low-life shop owners.

I'm not against happy things, but sometimes I want something more interesting to happen. I guess it's good for getting away from some of those dark horror games and such, but if you feel like cuttin' up bad guys, then this is not the game for you.

Pros: Good graphics. Character customization is fun. The tutorial does a good job of teaching you things. Minigames are fun. Preforming tasks can get you some cool things.

Cons: To type text, you've gotta get someones friend code. The tutorial is good, but boring. You can only preform a few tasks at a time. $10 a month is a big fee.

If you don't mind spending $10 a month and you're into happy games, then you'll enjoy this game. But if you're into cutting up zombies, just stay away.
