Great game...sorta like a square enix super smash brothers with final fantasy characters...

Well like i said, this is like a super smash brothers game but with final fantasy characters. This game is definitely a fun game to play. It may not be for some people i guess but the battles are really addictive. The story mode was kinda lacking but it made up for it with the extra stuff you can unlock and so many other things. You can create your own customized battles and level your people then play the story mode or go through the story then do some quick battles. Either way you get experience and other points to unlock new characters or alternate looks or many other things. Another cool aspect is that the game has a similar thing to achievements. You do certain things so many times and you unlock more accessories to equip to your character to increase their power. To be honest, when i first got the game i thought i would just play the quick battles and just forget the story mode but once u get the hang of the story mode, which takes like 20 mins maybe, it starts to bring you in. I found myself playing the story mode for hours and i actually enjoyed it. It does get repetitive after awhile though. The battles sequences have the potential to be epic. Pick any 2 characters from the decent size list and have fun slicing and dicing and finishing them off with a limit break or finishing move. Maybe re-enact an epic battle of cloud and Sephiroth but perhaps this time good doesn't win. Its up to you (and obviously your ability to play) All in all i definitely enjoyed playing this game but like i usually say...you may want to rent a game first before you buy...just in-case. (however I'm a big final fantasy fan so i just flat out bought it)
