The best game for the psp. It just keeps on giving.

170 hours into the game and I still find new things to try and do.

This short sentence is more than true. The game itself is addictive in the sense that you always come back for more, and you just want to gain another level or get a certain item for your character.
Each character can reach a level of 100, and you can get over 35 different summons to aid you in battle, though you can only equip one per fight.
With 22 playable characters, all the way from FFI to FFXII, you are in for quite a few styles to master, if you're going to get all achievements in the game. Each character has their own unique fighting style and bonuses. Cloud (FFVII), f.x. is able to use his Buster Sword to smash enemies into walls at a more powerful rate than others. Cecil (FFIV) can change between light and darkness powers depending on his location. Some use magic to take down their opponents, others punish with physical attacks to eliminate the enemy. As each character grows in level and experience, they learn new skills and attacks to help them crush the poor enemy. Overdrives and limitbreaks, Trance and Class changes are available when certain conditions are met, and this is where the real power is released. Fans of the series will see many old classics, as Tidus' Blitzace, Sephiroth's Super Nova and Squall's Lionheart. The fights can be nice and easy, or challenging and even frustratingly difficult. But the victory is so much sweeter when you beat a full powered opponent

The stages are taken from each game (FFI to FFX), and is, to some point, destructible. This can help bring a little confusion to the enemy, as he might lose sight of you for a second, enough for you to win the battle. Or the opposite.

The modes in the game are of course --> story mode, arcade mode, Duel Colosseum, Quick battle, and the multiplayer mode, Connection mode.
The Story mode lets you play through the games story with each of the protagonists from the different games. Though the battles are somewhat the same and different at the same time, the story itself is told in bits as each character progresses through the story maps. All these little bits fit together in the big picture, and tells the story of an eternal conflict.

The rest of the modes, I will leave for the player to discover for themselves. I've only described a fraction of the entire game, and it only keeps getting better and better as you progress :-)

If you're a fan of the Final Fantasy-series, then this game is a must for the gamer.
