Having fun with it. The best part is really the platforming, (old school 2D, jump, climb, duck, crawl). Running around and trying to solve the level based puzzles really is the best part. Some even require being in two different time periods at once. The Doctor aims his sonic screwdriver with right stick and you can hack into doors and certain objects with R2. Playing as River, right stick aims her gun and fires with R2, you can charge shot by holding it down. River kind of has stealthish abilities where she can jump into a doorway or something and hide in the background from enemies as they walk by.

The worst part is the puzzle mini games. They kind of suck. They are basic mini games that you have probably seen in many other games. On the hardest difficulty they are just frustrating. Especially in certain parts where you have a time limit. There are other parts of the game that are unfortunately trial and error, where you won't know what the hell to do until you die 5 times or so. The story doesn't seem as deep as the Devs were promising ("Interactive episode"). But great voice acting and performance from the real cast.

Overall it's just fun. It's not that often you get to run around as the Doctor and hack into things with your sonic screwdriver. For the type of game that it is, typical PSN side scrolling adventure, it's a good game. At $20, most would probably await a price drop, but fans like myself will really get a kick out of it.
