I haven't played Donkey Kong 64 since the late 90's but I remember that it was one of my favorite games as a kid.For the first time, Donkey Kong is in 3-D and it did not disappoint. Anyway,D.K has to rescue his family, Diddy, Tiny, Lanky, and Chunky from their enemy K.Rool. When you do rescue them you can then play as them. Moreover, you explore many large, fun, and somewhat difficult levels. Each level has there own, well designed bosses. Also, you can't just collect every item with one character, each Kong member has there own items to collect. For example D.K has to collect everything yellow colored and Diddy collects the red colored items. Another new feature in the game is that each character gets their own guns and instruments. Also, throughout the game you receive new moves for each character as you go on and each get a special move which can only work if they collect diamonds. Diddy Kong can use a jet pack, tiny can become super small, Chunky can become huge, and so on. When your finished with the single player there is a fun multiplayer that can have up to 4 players. Overall, Donkey Kong 64 has many hours of fun and is another instant classic for the Nintendo 64 platform.
