Amazing game, but not as good as the first

Donkey Kong Country 2 came out ten, yes i said ten (doesnt that make you feel old!!) years ago on the Super Nintendo. It was the sequal to what in my opinion is the best game ever made and that is Donkey Kong Country 2. This game is a port of the snes game to the gba but it gives the same extras that the port of Donkey Kong Country had. This is a really fun game. I will however say that the Donkey Kong games just seem to get worse as they go along in the SNES series, but this game is still phenominal but it is just not as good as the legendary first one that really put Rare on the map as a serious game developer. This game is just not as rememberable as the first one, even though this game is still pretty fun and is a great buy. For example, in the first Donkey Kong Country I can 100% complete the first Donkey Kong world in like ten-fifteen minutes. There is no way that I could do that here. Anyways onto the story. Donkey Kong has been kidnapped my Kaptain K Rool and now Diddy Kong and the new Dixie Kong have to go out and save him. Oh yes, before I go any further there is a new opening sequence that was not in the original Super Ninendo version which explains everything that happens before the game starts like Donkey Kong's abduction, we even learn that good ol Cranky Kong is none other than the Donkey Kong from the original arcade game. So Diddy and Dixie set off into the world to save Donkey Kong in some pretty memerable levels. This game even pays homage to the first Donkey Kong Country by having an entire world dedicated to a fair with more than one cart ridding level. This game does look a lot better than it did ten years ago, and that is a good thing. Things are more colorful adn three dimensional this time around. Things do however look the exact same as they have always been, just a little bit more advance. Soundwise everything sounds that same as it did ten years ago, there is a little static on the gba speakers but that is about it. So if you are a fan of the Donkey Kong franchise then you like me have been still playing this on our emulators or our actual Super Ninendo's and now we can take it with us where ever we want to.
