Nintendo can Kong my Donkey anytime!
As long as Nintendo keeps making games like this I don't see how they can ever be called a "second rate" gaming console. This game has everything you want in a game: great visuals, fantastic controls, stellar sound, and most importantly, an experience that leaves you completely satisfied.
If you are debating what to get your youngster for the holiday season this year, and you don't want to worry about them blowing through the game in a weekend, then this should your game of choice. DKCR gives players the chance to adventure through a series of lush, island environments while pounding the evil, voo-doo mask clan back to the dark hole they came from.
Once you complete the game there is still plenty of adventure left too. It will take even an experienced gamer countless hours trying to collect all of the "KONG" letters scattered through each world. Plus, no matter how many times your character gets destroyed by falling off a cliff or impaled by a spike, you can always visit the store and stock up on precious balloons.
Seriously folks, if you don't own this one already then go out and grab. You will be glad you did this winter when the temperature drops to well-below acceptable levels of freezing. This I promise you.
