a fun platformer that otherwise has so little flaws that there so over looked its simpy just a great overall experience
gameplay: with some unresponsive controls here and there its still a great over all experience making sure that every jump there is something unexpected because level design and overall gameplay trump all 9.5/10
co-op is one of the stronger parts of the game unlike super mario bros wii its more compatative. For the first time in series a second player can jump in and play as diddy kong something your not able to do in the single player. You share your live stock which makes the game so much more compatative its great all though sometimes second player will die because first player goes to far if this is a problem just have diddy kling on to his back as it takes more strategy than any other co-op 2d side scroller seen to date 10/10
presentation- when rare first went for the cartoony look on the nes it really didnt look like it since the graphics back then were less than average its great to see the cartoony look all though it maybe to modest at times but its not necessarily a bad thing since the level desing is so steller that it is easy to over look this flaw 9/10
the verdict- this is one of the best platformers to ever debut on the wii all though there are some control problems and meeting up with some old friends like rambi is short lived anyone wanting to play an old school platformer look no further as this is great to see donkey kong come back to gaming 9.5/10
