this game is an 8 bit clone to the fantastic donkey kong country 2, and keeps all the traditional fun of the original.
the graphics are actually really good for what it is. i cant believe that they fit this entire game on an 8-bit monocrhome system(handheld). the original has so many colors. but it actually turned out really well. you can tell what everything is, and most enemies are clear.
the music is just awsome. the original donkey kong country 2 had one of my favorite soundtracks, and this is no exeption. all of the tunes are catchy, and there is a great variety so that your not hearing the same music over and over again. there is a different set of songs per world so this also helps. the sound effects are great to.
this game is one of the longest gameboy games. there are at least 40 different levels. there are also different members of the kong family that can give you useful info, save your game, or even fly you around the island. for a price.
the map screen also helps define the game. its a lot of fun to be able to go back and forth from the worlds.
altogether this is one of my favorite game boy games, and i would defenitly consider if your looking for some great fun, a challenge, and a classic game.
