Only avid fans of the original, or just plain mario fanatics would find this appealing.

Donky Kong is more of a flashback into history than a game worth buying. The game costs $5 on the wii virtual console and is an exact replica of the nes version of the game. Even down to the fact that you basically have a nes controller in the form of your wii remote. Those of you aching to go back to the first days of mario and donkey kong will not be disappointed. As this is an exact copy. There are no updates of any kind to be found here. You still have three levels with a choice of difficulty A or the more challenging B. You also have 2 players that both look like mario. The goal is to get to the princess at each level, dodging barrels and flames along the way. If your really into donkey kong to begin with you could justifiy a purchase, but there are better things on Wii than this classic that hasn't aged that well.
