Does Not Hold Up

I can remember a time when all my PC was good for was printing out pictures id made in paint and playing games that were too technically advanced to run on my SNES. Times have changed. DOOM is a large disappointment in my case. I understand how someone can go in and find it very retro and entertaining in that right, but it just does not hold up for me. It's not fun because it's lacking so many things that make first person shooters great. Im not giving it negative points as a game totally, im giving it negative points as a buying perspective, it just isnt worth it. Doom is a work of art and was a great game in it's day, it just doesnt hold up anymore, sorry.
