Those who play this game are doomed to experience the single most perfect first-person shooter ever.

The graphics for this game were pretty good for it's time. I was so into the game that at times it felt like I was in it. Although sometimes enemies get too close to you and you can clearly see the pixels that make them up. Stone walls and mechanical walls mixed with darkness gave the feeling that you were in a sci-fi/horror flick. In the end, lets just say that this game will make you scared of dark places because you never know what's around that corner.

You gotta love what they've done with the soundtrack. The music sets the mood for whatever level you're playing in. You'll always remember that whooshing sound when a fireball is being hurled at you. You'll never forget when you first heard that snortling gurgle which came from that ubiquitous imp that was responsible for that same fireball.

Like I mentioned before, this is the one game that will leave you breathless and still leave you gasping for more of that gory gameplay we all enjoy. Demons lurk in the shadows, zombified soldiers wield shotguns, and hellspawn are bloodthirsty for you and you're the only one that can keep them from invading earth. This game is so great that it needs no plot or explanation, and it barely has any, that its name will be remembered for years to come. This game is just perfect in every way. Got tired of slaughtering demons? Join up with a few of your buddies and just kill anything that dares move in a friendly game of deathmatch. Don't be surprised if you're cussing out the screen or feeling your heart rate go up. Just don't forget to say "Go to hell" to the final boss. Happy dooming.
