Finally, a Doom port worthy of playing. Being released before previous crappy ports such as Doom 32X and Doom Snes, Doom for the Jaguar doesn't have as much potential as the PC version, but it still is as fun and as worthy to play.

What you've got going on here is otherwise a perfect port of Doom. There are some weapons and monsters missing, but you'll get over it. What you might not get over is the fact that music is absent from the game. This was probably because the Jaguar developers wanted to make it more realistic, but many Doom fans will oppose to this. Other than that, the sound effects are really good and otherwise flawless.

While it's nothing like the original, it's pretty damn close to coming to it. Get this game if you can't get the PC version, if you can, still get this fun hardcore port, probably the best port of Doom ever.
