I didn't log on my Gamespot account for years but after my Doom 3 BFG experience I HAD to review this game so other customers would AVOID buying this. I'll be short. I just played Doom 3 for 30 minutes and it is the worst way I could spend 40 bucks on. Definitely getting a cash down for CoD with it. 1- Graphics are horrible. I know it is supposed to be remastered but textures are stretched, no anti antiasliasing (edges are pretty rough) it just don't feel like other remastered games. If you want to compare to the original, it really feels like Low to Medium graphic settings back in the day. Only positive point is the frame rate that goes around 60 all the time.

2- When you play a Doom game, you may die quite a bit even on normal difficulty. This is why quick save was so practical on PC. Quick save / Quick Load so the pace of action isnt too affected when you die. On PS3, forget it! It takes FOREVER to load and save. When you die, you end up by loading more than you are playing. 3- If you are a trophy hunter like I am, this game isnt going to fill your stash easily. You are getting Bronze trophy for beating the game on HARDEST difficulty. Enough said.

Last words:
Terrible port of a really great PC game who actually looked better on a PC that had half of the graphical PS3 power. This game was clearly made to suck the money out of your Nostalgic pockets that wanted to play an upgraded version not a downgraded version. Buy something else...please.
