Doom 3 was pretty much exactly what I expected it to be, and quite honestly that was a good thing. I wanted to be immersed into the darkness that permeates this title. I was looking to be scarred as I plunged head long into the dark corridors knowing that I was ready to blast some bad guys. What I got was several hours of totally enjoyable game play as well as some pleasant surprises along the way. The best part of all of this is that this tile is located in all the bargain bins for well under $10, now that is what I call a heck of a deal.
