Let me start by saying that I have never played the PC version of this game, any connections I make between this game and the PC version are purely byist. Graphics: This is, no doubt the best looking X-Box game ever made. The lighting, the guns, the monsters, even the blood are so detailed that you will really be caught up in the game and what it has to offer. I can't say enough about how good looking this game is. Sound: The sound is equally amazing, the gun booms and sound layering almost makes you believe that you are on this ship. If not for the sound that game wouldn't nearly be as good as it is. The sound really puts your speakers to work, and if you have surrond sound, you will be in for a real treat. Gameplay: The controller layout is very simple but still a lot of fun to use. It is very easy to switch from your flashlight to your gun, with only the press of the white button. Overall this is a game that is not only worth playing, but buying as well. It's a very impressive achievement by ID software.
