Resurrection of Evil is the expansion pack to Doom3, this x-box version however is a completely stand alone game and doesn’t deliver anything different to Doom3. Once again you take the role of a marine (a different one this time) who opens up the gateway to hell again. Your team gets killed and you need to find a way to lock away the artifact back to hell. Like all expansions there’s going to be new weapons like the Grabber reminiscent to the gravity gun in Halflife2. Making a return is the double barreled shotgun, it packs quite a punch. New enemies like the hunters and new places to explore. The graphics still is the same which means its pretty good. On the multiplayer side, resurrection of evil this time has a 8 player limit doubled from the 4 in Doom3. But nothing is new and yes it does get boring and old. This game is still the same so it will only appeal to gamers who liked the previous installment.
