As you might have already guessed, this game has the BEST graphics on the Xbox that you can find. The gunplay is so well done that it rivals the Halo and Half-Life games!!! The graphics are so well done that walls and enemies actually have layers of flesh that sink in!!!! meaning that if you go up to a wall or an enemy, there will be parts of that object that are actually full 3D, making this game even better!!!! The single player mode just plain rox. some people find it more of a horror/survival game, while others (like me) find it to be a full on action you-vs-hell type of game!!! While it is a close-quarters action game, it doesn't really get to like you think it would. Now, the multiplayer is a bit different. It can actually be frustrating sometimes as the game has you spawn with only a pistol and a few granades. and since the maps are small, you can die again in a heartbeat. but that doesn't make not fun... but the real multiplayer jem is co-op. you can play all the levels from single player in co-op. and since single player is actually pretty lengthy, co-op could become your new best friend. But, be warned, as you have ALL co-op levels right from the beginning, so it may ruin single player for you if you go play single player first. unfortunitly, you cannot play ANY multiplayer mode on split-screen... overall, this game is deffenitly worth your time, AND money.
