Probably the Best Game Ever

I'm an RPG player first and foremost but this is quite possibly the best game ever made. On its hardest difficulty setting (no limited lives and restarting the game nonsense) it is very challenging but super fair. It manages this in a way that very few games can even come close to. You as the player are in control of generating your own ammo, health, and shields. At any moment you can summon these resources (for the most part). Given that ability you'd think the game is easy but nope! And therein lies the genius. How the devs were able to allow the player access to all resources but still keep them challenged. The shooting is top notch, great performance, graphics, and music. A masterclass of game design.
