It's not just an amazing port of my favourite game ever, it's also the best GBA game ever.
Is there anything missing? Well there's about 1 or 2 music tracks missing and that's it. Big deal. In fact, who cares? The multiplayer's there too- co-op mode and an excellent deathmatch. The graphcis have been improved since the first GBA Doom, there's way more textures and better lighting and the game looks like it's running at a higher resolution. Sound? Top-notch again. All the enemies are there so that means all the sound effects in that department are there plus there's all the gun shots and music.
There are 32 levels overrall which, although you probably will complete the game fairly quick, you'll just keep coming back for more. The only bad thing about Doom 2 for GBA are frame-rate issues that arent too bad anyway.
OK, so this version cant beat the PC version, but this is still the best GBA game I have ever played thanks to it's quality and features. I highly recommend it to any Doom fan, GBA owner or FPS fan.
Pros:
+Extremely close port of the PC original
+Contains everything from graphics, sound, enemies, levels...
+Excellent multiplayer
Cons:
-Frame-rate problems
