One thing you need to understand about this amazing sport (it is a sport, you can not deny it) is that if you do not have a highly competitive personality you will most likely fail. But sense of satisfaction of winning a close game or even when your favourite professional team goes all the way on some tournament is priceless. It is probably the best thing that happened to me in my life except for having a first sex. Maybe even better. Dota nation is growing so strong and I remember when only 40 thousand of us had that famous beta key, in november of 2011. Once you get into it, you can not get out. But I can assure you, you will never want to, because it's better than drugs. Better than anything in the world. Stragies, tactics, variety of ways to win and to lose is endless, pace of the game is nearly perfect, and skill cap is unlimited. Try it, ruin your life, thank me later.
