Dr Mario and the Germ Buster is a solid Wiiware title.
Gameplay
It is basically 2 games in one The Germ Buster is used with the Wii mote and isn't really that intresting in my opinion. Dr Mario is the though you can work through certain levels from 1 upwards of how many viruses you want it does make it harder when you have about 10 but it is challenging. Yoiu hold the Wii Mote on its side and like a D pad and you place the pills to try and get rid of the virues which can be difficult but it is fun. You can place them across or straight up and you need a combination of 4 colours to clear an area and 3 with a virus to get rid of them. They come in 3 different colours blue,yellow and red.
There is also a multiplayer mode as well online can be fun. You have a ranking points which makes it fun. When you play a normal opponent you don't get to choose how many virues you want to try and get rid of but with friends you can change the rules and that is a nice idea. You have to input players friend codes but you can send a demo to a friend on your Wii Friends list. You get told if a friend is online and you can play against them. When you play your Mii dances a little bit and the winner is who gets rid of the virues first or if someone ends up at the top they lose out. So there are 2 ways in winning.
Sound and Graphics
You get to choose certain music like Chill or Fever and they can be quiet catchy to listen to. The graphics are nothing special nice and colourful and they aren't bad for a WiiWare game.
Lastability
Maybe a good few hours of addicting gameplay and online should keep you entertained and also.
Overall Opinion
It is actually quiet surprising as a game it has no lag it plays great and you get 2 games basically which seem virtually the same but with different controls. The game can be fun in multiplayer it may not suit everyone but the game is fun and can be addicting. I would say if you liked the old NES game then you will like this.
