It definitely has it's bright spots, but...........
- Graphics look good (except the water, wth?)
- The first 4 hours of combat. It is actually pretty fun at first and you feel like
a badass when standing in the middle of Tempest throwing out chained
Lightning and using a lightning staff. The sound effects of lightning are
pretty solid. After the first few hours it starts to feel very repetitive.
The Bad:
- Way to linear. I kid you not when i say a six year old could beat this game.
You do not need to read the dialogue options just looked at the dumbed
down picture to know how to answer. Then just start mashing buttons
in battle.
- Zero explorability. Its sad when Ratchet and Clank feels more like a RPG
than this.
- Companions. They are completely hollow. Romance?? hell, i dont even
know them, let alone feel like i want to romance them. Alistair and Morrigan
each had more character than the sum of companions from DA:2
In summary, Feels rushed, dumbed down and over simplified. Insulting to real RPG fans. Bioware needs to be more forceful with their creative input, because i know they can't feel happy about the finished product that is DA:2. And to EA if you are reading...please stay the hell away from Bethesda.
