Dragon Age Origins, blew people's minds away. Dragon Age II just sneezes short.

Don't get me wrong, Dragon Age 2 is an AMAZING story-based game, while still tactical, is not the game it's predecessor was. It's visuals are decent, but it's the environment lighting that makes the game feel like real life. While it doesn't have the amount of land, close to Origins, Kirkwall is a somewhat likable (and realistic) mediavel surrounding. The gameplay (especially the fighting) is much more enjoyable, even thought Bioware took out the "tactical" in a tactical role-playing series. Fortunately you may still use tactics and sorts for epic-pc gamers. In the game you portray, Hawke, the champion of Kirkwall. In the first scene and the demo, Varric (a playable partner), over exaggerates your skills. After that the game gets more challenging. The music is perfect for it's time and is put in all the right places. There are 3 classes that you may choose from and you can either be male or female. The gender of Hawke doesn't determine his/hers skill level. The 3 classes (from best to worst) are Rouge, Mage, and Warrior. A Rouge utilizes stealth and twin daggers or bows to take down opponents with a series of flips and kicks here and there. It is a necessity to have one the party as they are the only class that can picklocks and steal. The Mage uses magic to hit opponents from afar. The Warrior is just an all-out power house. DA 2 is not as good as Origins, but it's still VERY enjoyable!
