How to Ruin a Game: The Complete Guide

User Rating: 3 | Dragon Age II X360
This game is nothing like its predecessor, and I mean that in the worst sense of the word.
Combat: while most people pound this for being absolutely horrible and the worst part of the game, I don't necessarily agree with that. The combat system does feel a lot more dumbed down and simplified, with having much fewer abilities on much longer cooldowns, however in my opinion there is some fairly addictive element to it that gives you at least some enjoyment. 5/10
Dialogue: the dialogue is perhaps the worst part of DA2, as the system has been completely ruined. With you knowing what each option will do, you will just generally select the option depending on which result you want, thus making the dialogue super boring, to the point where you just button mash to skip it. In short: atrocious. 0/10
Story: the story is set in a tiny town with fairly few interesting moments and without a grandiose scale. For the most part, it feels like an over glorified grind. 2/10
UI: this is perhaps the best part of the game, as some new options, such as "move to" option, really help with combat. 9/10
Content: most quests are simplistic fetch/kill quests, with few interesting subplots, many reused environments, and short combat sessions. 3/10
Audio/Video: I personally do not pay much attention to these things and as such do not feel like I have good authority to judge them.
Overall: most of the game feels and plays like a boring repetitive grind. The only reason I actually beat it is so that I could feel like I had good authority to judge it. So, I would say this game is not worth your money as you are likely to not even beat it as you will get completely bored in 3 hours. SKIP
