Addictive and fleshed-out, with so many decisions to be made.

I've played this game from start to finish while solving every side-quest possible, and so far have only seen 50% of what's possible to see. This is a huge RPG where decisions play a paramount role on how the story shapes out, and I think it's safe to say it needs to be played multiple times to experience the different paths and possibilities the intricate story can deliver.

The gameplay is pretty much standard AD&D so do not expect anything revolutionary here, but it's solid nonetheless. Where this game stands out is the level of interactivity and immersiveness it presents. The videos are well-placed and the thoughtful use of the game engine to render them adds to the seamless experience of being a part of an epic world.

Simply put, it's and RPG that puts the emphasis on "role-playing". The only downside I can think of is that the areas to explore aren't that many, but they are huge and have truly outstanding design.

p.s If you're a PC user, download one of those HD texture-packs, it'd make a world of difference since the game's default textures aren't anywhere as good.
