A great game that can easily offer 40 hours+ of gameplay and with a great storyline it will not get boring.

Dragon age origins has like almost every other game from BioWare a great storyline. I spent over 40 hours completing the campaign and that without finishing all the side quests. But apart from the great story and long game-play DA:O offers little in combat. Having one tank, an archer, a healer/caster and one spell-caster will easily bring to the end and playing on the hardest settings will hardly slow you down as you progress, what will slow you down is the lack of health potions that seems to be in every shop.

And after completing a game you hardly have the strength to play it all through again with a new character since only some dialogues are changed but the outcome of the game will be the same (but there are still some ways to end the game on).

It is also a bit sad that there is not many different classes and races to choose from. It is a downgrade from Baldurs Gate in my opinion and I would have no problem at taking away all the origins and replacing them with 6 additional races and many more classes.

So beside the lack of difficulty in combat and the small variety of classes/races the game still offers a great time and if you play a game for the story you WILL like Dragon Age Origins, but I will not do a replay of it.
