Definitely not a game for every gamer...

Dragon age origins is pretty much like how Bioware has been making their swords and shields game since Neverwinter Nights. But for some reason Neverwinter Nights seemed better to me than Dragon Age.

Dragon age is a hard game and a lot of thought goes into every battle that takes place (this is different for everyone). You may find yourself dying and getting frustrated many times in the game, and some fights seem almost impossible to get by unless you pinpoint the exact issue (more dps, take 1 by 1, more crowd control). Most fights will pretty much be a... Enemy Enter... "Pause Game"... Assign exact orders to each party member on what to do... "UnPause".... Actions are done successfully... "Pause".... and so on. Again this is different for everyone, but I found this to be the only way for me to get by on some fights and then finally I said enough's a enough and threw the game at the wall.

The game does have nice graphics, and some pretty nifty effects, dialogues, and quests. I'm pretty sure they spent a lot of time on the dialogue since almost everyone in the game has more than 3 page worth's of things to say to you if you really are keen on asking them.

Lol but seriously, if you enjoy a lot of game pause's and assessing your battle scenario's, pinpointing issue's by going through all your party members one by one, lots of high blood pressure moments, very close battles, and a nice easy going storyline. By all means this ones for you. But my taste goes sour for this one, to much going on for my liking - and I feel to much like a babysitter with my party, having me tell them exactly what needs to be done.
