From the moment you begin Dragon Age Origins, you won't be able to put your controller down...
Let's start with the gameplay, as this is, arguably one of the most important aspects of a game. Can you decapitate an enemy with a final blow to the head? Can you summon a horde of insects to leech the life of an enemy? Can you strike down an enemy with a mighty dalish bow? Short answer: yes you can. The combat in Dragon Age Origins feels so natural, so fluent and just plain fun. Whether you are draining the residual life from nearby dead enemies to heal you mage, or perhaps unleashing a whirlwind of damage with your duel weapons, everything seems to fit nicely with the tone of the game. On another note, the sound and graphics are great and provide an engrossing experience when slaying a foe. The gory effects and well-designed locations through ferelden obviously mean that bioware really cared about even the smallest details throughout the game.
I'm not going to tell you about the story, the characters, or anything substantial that happens throughout the game...I'll leave that for you to discover. However, I will say that I am glad to have bought this game and enjoyed every minute of it, or all 60 hours. I just regret not buying it sooner :)
