By far one of the best RPG experiences!

Dragon age origins is a game that will draw you in as you make moral choices that help to mold the army that you create. Betrayal and death are spread through out the game and your decisions won't always be good and evil which is one of the greatest things about the game. The characters are memorable and are always ready to talk to you though you'll get more out of them if you keep them in your party.
As far as game play goes the combat is clunky but it gets the job done. Tactics are an important part of the game but if you just want the story playing on the easy setting will let you slide through the game without pausing to issue commands unless your against a boss. When you first begin however you will notice that warriors and rouges often overlap in their combat styles and mages are over powered.
The game does a good job at pushing you forward to a new zone and each zone has a welcoming scene when you first get there that introduces the conflict there. The game's semi-nonlinear storyline is expansive and reactive. I say semi-nonlinear because the games end is always the same but the journey and the tools you use in the end are what your choices change.
This is a game you will replay over and over again just to find how every factor of what you do changes what happens. Race, class, origin, alliances and so on.
