Sweet game!
You may hear people say that the graphics suck on the 360. I would have to disagree. While they are far from the best graphics, they are still decent and if you install the game to your harddrive, you will not have to deal with framerate issues and textures aren't as compressed. At least that is how it seemed to me. I am playing the game upscaled to 1080p without any hitches and it looks pretty good. Where the graphics are not great, the art style is.
Other nay-sayers may state that the game is a "Lord of the Rings" rip-off. That is not so. If this is a rip-off then so is every fantasy game. Tolkien was one of the high fantasy writers of the modern day so pretty much anything that comes out in this genre will be influenced by his works. The lore is deep. The story is well written. You can see that Bioware created a whole new universe and did so with adept skill.
In conclusion I have to say that this is the best RPG I have played in recent times. This is a throw back to the Baldur's Gate type of game (although it doesn't exacly play that way on consoles. It plays more like KOTOR). :(
I have been at work for almost eight hours and all I can think about is getting home and playing this game. Anyone who is on the fence about this game, I would recommend you give it a rent and don't go too hard on the visuals. If you go in not expecting stellar graphics, you won't be disappointed. Now if only I could think of a way to get off work early so I could continue playing this game. LOL! :)
