You know what? Yes, it does deserve a 10.
This is a great game that spans the entire Dragon Ball journey short of Piccolo Jr. If you aren't a fan of the series, you might not appreciate the game to it's fullest, but if you are, well, you won't find a better Dragon Ball game.
The animations are simply amazing, if you're into 2D games, this it it right here. The sound really fits the mood of the game and psyches you up for the boss battles, also making for very satisfying combos and special moves and the character voices are just right.
There's a one-on-one mode for you to battle the AI with up to 6 characters to choose from and, if you have a friend with the game, you can link up two units and kick his ass in the world martial arts tournament. The controls for the one-on-one battles are completely different from the story mode controls, so get ready for some pretty rewarding action.
There are also unlockable mini games, tons of items for you to collect, an unlockable character at the end of the game and the ability to jump to any mission, so the replay value is obviously there, even though you can finish the story mode pretty quickly.
I haven't had a game this good in my hands for a long time. Hopefully the score average will agree with my review. Thanks for reading.
